Student Life - Welcome to NPU!
Office of Admissions
The Admissions Office at Northwestern Polytechnic University prides itself on providing the highest quality customer and information services possible for our students, alumni, faculty, and staff. Our primary concern is to help our new and existing students understand the administrative requirements for study at a nationally-accredited American university, and to help those students at every step of the way in their pursuit of an American bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree at NPU. Our friendly and professional staff is standing by to help you, in nearly any language, to make your transition to an American university as easy and convenient as possible. We look forward to serving your educational and professional development needs.
International Students
Health Insurance
All international students are required to have a health insurance plan while studying at NPU (also while on semester break). NPU offers an international student insurance plan through AETNA at a reasonable rate.
Transfer Students
If you are an international student currently holding F1 status with another U.S. school and want to transfer to NPU, please also submit the following:
- Transfer Eligibility Form completed by an international student advisor at your last school. This must be done either before you leave the last school or soon after you leave the school in order to maintain your F1 status.
- A photocopy of your previous I-20 (first page only).
- Photocopies of your passport, I-94, and visa.
