HOW TO APPLY

All Students:

1. Fill out and submit an Online Application by the application deadline.

2. Application fee (non-refundable)

  • International Applicant $100 (includes USPS Express Mail Service)
  • Local Applicants $80

3. Send official transcripts in English from all previous colleges attended and a photocopy of the diploma(s) earned. First-year undergraduate applicants need to submit official high school transcripts and a photocopy of the diploma.

4. Send official English proficiency exam scores (if native language is not English)

5. Send official GRE*, GMAT**, ACT/SAT*** scores 

  • *GRE score required for graduate level engineering programs
  • **GMAT score required for graduate level business programs
  • ***ACT/SAT score required for undergraduate level programs (Freshmen only)

6. Send photocopy of passport (must for international students) or any other government issued I.D.card.

International Students Only:

7. Provide a recent financial support document indicating a minimum amount of $30,000 is available for pursuing your study at NPU in the first year.

  • Bank letter is issued on an official letterhead that includes the name and the address of the branch.
  • The letter is issued within the 30 days prior to application.
  • Stamped and signed by a bank official and includes the name and official contact information (e-mail/phone number) of the signatory
  • Curent bank statement (same bank account); or a loan letter from a lending institution; or a property deeds valuation report; or copies of fixed deposits.

Transfer Students Only:

8. Provide photocopies of I-94, and visa.

9. Provide a photocopy of your previous I-20, first page only.

Official Transcripts:

The official transcripts must be in English. If the documents were not issued in English, a certified translation in English is required. Foreign transcripts may require evaluation by a qualified credential evaluation agency.

English Proficiency Requirement:

Non-native English speakers are considered meeting the entrance English proficiency requirement if they meet any of the following requirements:

  • Used English as the official language and completed study in a high school or college degree program (applicable to diploma/degrees earned only in US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada).
  • Has completed a college English credit course in an English speaking institution (applicable to college English credit course taken in US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada).
  • Has submitted an official TOEFL or IELTS or PTE Academic test score report to NPU and the score meets the requirements stated below.

Standardized Entrance Assessment Tests:

Based on your program, you are required to submit the official test score report to NPU. There is no minimum requirement, however, the score is an integral part of admissions decision.
