Congratulations to Mr. Haoyuan Liu, our MBA 2001 Grad, founded SageTech, Inc., which is one of the most successful Hi-Tech companies in Zhong Guan Cun Science Park, Beijing, China.
- Congratulations to Mr. Pradeep Chalicheemala, our fresh MSEE graduate, who just got three job offers from Brocade Communication Systems as a Hardware Engineer, Intel and GDA Technologies. Mr. Chalicheemala decided to join Brocade Communication Systems.
- We want to Congratulate our graduate, Mr. Onabajo, who just got an job offer from Intel Corporation on 6/9/04. We are very proud of him and want to give him our best wishes.
- Congratulations to our graduate, Mr. Andrew Wang, who found a great job at Macrovision in Santa Clara, and will start to work next Monday (4/26/04). He would like to thank you for Dr. Hsieh who gave him so much support and encouragement when he was very depressed and disappointed. We wish him all the best in his future endeavor!
- We want to Congratulate our graduate, Ms. Jing Zhou (MSCS 2002), who will join Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. in Osaka in December and work as a coordinator for its Asian Business R&D Division. With her academic backgrounds in computer science and business, combined with her work experience in high-tech technical and business industries in the past couple of years, Jing is a great asset to Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. She has a bright future in the front of her. We want to give her our best wishes.
- Congratulations to Mr. Yong-wei, (Tiger) Li, our fresh MBA graduate, class of summer 2003! We are so proud that you have recently been recruited by the famous Utility Consulting International (UCI), as their corporate Business Development Manager. Your dedication to, and hard work on, your academic study at NPU, as well as your wonderful and warm personality that constantly extends to others, have again proven to be appreciated in your job search at this difficult economic time in Silicon Valley. We wish you all that best of luck and continual success in your future endeavor!
- Congratulations to Ms. Elian Xu, our recent semester (Summer/2003) MSCS graduate, who got a job offer at Sony Permanent as a Senior Software QA Engineer. (Oct. 27, 2003)
- Congratulations to Ms. Chih-Lun Tsao (Lorraine), our recent MSCES graduate, who got a job offer at the Chin-zu Science campus, Taiwan. She will start working on Oct. 20, 2003.
- Congratulations to our outstanding recent 2002 MBA graduate, Miss Renee Hu, who has just been promoted to the chief accountant and Human Resource Manager at Veri Silicon, Inc. in Santa Clara, CA.
Renee, your world class table tennis championship excellence has again been demonstrated in your new career initiative in high-tech business. We admire your spirit and dedication for your pursuit of excellence. We are also proud of you!
- Congratulations to Mr. Louis Phan, our MSEE summer 2003 graduate for his promotion as the Physical Design Manager of MARVELL Corporation of Sunnyvale, CA.
Louis, we all know how hard you were working in the highly competitive Silicon Valley high-tech industry while at the same time taking demanding EE coursework at NPU during the past two years. We all wish you the best of luck in your new endeavor.
- Congratulations are also extended to our 2002 MSCS graduate, Mr. Frank Yang, for his newly promoted position as the Marketing Director of World Financial Group of San Francisco.
Frank, we can tell how exciting it must be, migrating from a computer IT specialist to become a financial expert in just 24 months. We all wish you the best of luck in your new career at WFG.
- Dr. Jun-Ichi Ujihara, the president of one of the largest private universities in Japan, Meisei University in Tokyo, visited NPU last month. We appreciate his kind words in his thank you letter to Dr. Hsieh and all the faculty members who participated in the meeting with him.
We are also very pleased that his university will become NPU's second sister university of Japan. This is in addition to the Kobei Design Institute of Kobei, Japan.
- Congratulations to Hong Zhang and Dan Yang Zheng, our MBA graduates, for passing the CPA exam of the State of California!
- Nipa Yossakda, our MSCS graduate, had two of her papers published in the IEEE publication for her Ph.D. dissertation. They are entitled "Sample Integrated Fourier Transform (SIFT): A Novel Real-Time Process", and
"Sliding Aperture Fourier Transform (SAFT): A Low Latency Continuous Process".

- John Jen-Yang Hsu (2002 MSCS and 2001 BSCS): He is VP of TOPFIBER TECH CO. in BC, Canada.
- Pinaki Ray (2001 MSCS): He is holding a position as Software Project Manager at LifeScan, Inc. in Milpitas.
- Connie Cao (2001 MSCS): She is holding a position as Marketing Manager at FortiNet, Inc. in Palo Alto.
- Sateesh Allada (2001 MSCS): He is a Software Engineer at Novellus Systems, Inc. in San Jose.
- Yoshiyasu Mori (2001 MSCS): His title is Internationalization QA Engineer at Remedy Corp. in Mountain View.
- Eric Chao (2001 MSCS): His title is MIS Engineer with COMCHIP Technology Corp. in Fremont.
