The L.A.S. V.E.G.A.S. job hunting attitude revealed *
“The trouble with unemployment is that the minute you wake up in the morning you are on the job.” -- Slappy White, an American comedian and actor

After being a job advisor for a whole semester, I realize everyone could find a dream job if they just treated job hunting as a full time job. The whole process nails down to who you are, what you do, when and how you do it.

Who you are is about your attitude. You have to be L.A.S. V. E.G.A.S. By the way, it has nothing to do with the city Las Vegas.

The first letter “L” stands for leaving the house, and starting to go out and talk to your potential employer. Don’t just sit at home behind a screen and shoot your resume on the Internet. You’ve got to get out of the house, forget about the email, forget about the Internet search, get out there in the field and make thing happen. Job hunting is selling. How can you make things happen for yourself? You can look for more job openings, advertised and posted, but successful sales people make things happen. Are you out there making things happen or just waiting things happen?

To be continued...
