The NPU Hiking Club went to Henry Cowell State Park on June 11, 2010. The students enjoyed walking among the giant redwood trees. After the hike, the Club visited Mystery Spot near Santa Cruz. The students were amazed at the illusion of height difference and feeling the gravitational pull.

Registration is now open for SEMICON West 2010 and Intersolar North America which is a large trade show for the semiconductor and solar industries. It will be held July 13-15 in San Francisco and attending the exhibits is free until June 4th for regular folks and students. The conference portion is extra. It is a good chance for the students to learn more about the companies in these areas.

The NPU Tennis Club hosted the "NPU Tennis Tournament" on Friday, March 26, 2010 at Warm Springs Community Park from 2:00 PM - 5:30 PM. The tournament was for singles competition only. Prizes were awarded as follows: 1st Place - $50 gift card, 2nd Place - $30 gift card, 3rd Place - $20 gift card.
