( 2.9 / 744 )Congratulations to our NPU Table Tennis Team! We participated in the NCCAF (Northern California Chinese Athletic Federation) Table Tennis Tournament yesterday (6/17/2007, Sunday). The wonderful performance of our team gained the approval and congratulations from our opponents, audiences and the organizers of the tournament.
The following members of our NPU Table Tennis Team played the games:

In the group matches, we lost to the BASE team which had one USATT Rating 2519 (US Mens Top 25 player), one 2122 and three around 1900 players. The BASE finally got the 1st place of the tournament. The following is the information of the BASE team:

Our another opponent was Rambus which was also very strong. But we beat them at 3:2. The last match with Rambus was our new team member Xinxin Wang vs the top player of Rambus. After four intense games, the score was 2:2. In the last game, Xinxin Wang beat him at 12:10 by his perseverance. Thank you! Xinxin! You won the most important match for us!

The Table Tennis Round Robin will become our regular event every Saturday. Whatever your level is, you are welcome to join this Round Robin. We have 4 tables available for this RR. If you think you are at the beginner's level, you can start from the Table 3 or Table 4.
